Use the Portal to add, edit, remove, and move pages in your solution as well as add, edit, or remove components. You can also perform page searches.
You can reorder pages displayed in the sitemap by clicking the icon and dragging the page to a new location.
To open the Portal:
On the menu bar, click Manage .
On the Manage page, click Pages.
The Portal page opens. The left pane displays the sitemap, which contains all the pages in your solution. The right pane displays the currently selected page. In the following example, the Variants page is selected. The right arrow indicates that the Variants page has sub-pages. Click the right arrow (→) to see the sub-pages.
When you first open the Portal, the Home page is selected by default. The Home page is the root page.
The Page search includes the following functionalities:
- Multi-level search
- View child pages
- Move page
- Add subpage
You can search across all the pages in your Sitecore Content Hub™ solution including child pages. To do this, enter the name of the page or a keyword in the Search box and press Enter. A list of the pages that have text similar to the search text is displayed in the sitemap.
View child pages
To view child pages, next to the page name, click the right arrow (→). The complete path to the child page is displayed at the top of the right pane.
To access a contextual menu of options for each page, click More actions (...). The following options are available:
- View page - allows you to preview a page in a new tab.
- Add subpage - opens the Page dialog box where you can define page parameters for a new subpage.
- Move page - enables you to move the selected page by navigating to the new parent page and clicking Move 1 here.
- Delete page - allows you to delete a page. When you delete a page , all its contents are deleted.
The following options are not be available for system-owned pages: Add subpage, Move page, Delete subpage.
